We stayed in many resorts around the Asia, but this is far the best we have been. The place is spacious and have 3 swimming pools, few restaurants, few bars and occupied half of the beach. Tip:stay in Paradise zone on hill, which offer fantastic view. The only complain is that hill swimming pool has sharp stones on top and you must be careful to not cut yourself as I did. The reception lady was not helpful and did not provide me any first aid. It is situated on top a hill with very good views of the sea. The small pool is also on the hill s edge overlooking the sea. However this place lacks customer service. The staff needs to be trained on proper guest relations management. For example, the front desk clerk named Suwaree is very rude. She was unpleasant to deal with and screams at guests. I once asked to speak to the manager to which she replied the manager is not in the hotel and that he does not have a mobile phone. Also, there is a so called shuttle/taxi between the Paradise Zone up above to go down to the Beach Zone near the beach. This runs only every 30 minutes and only up to 10PM. Walking up and down the long driveway is not advisable (even for a young person like myself) since it is very steep and curves. If you miss the half-hour mark, the staff makes you wait for the next run, even if the pick up truck is at the driveway sitting idle. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room even when I never opened the balcony door. For these reasons - lack of customer / guest relations and the very steep climb up to the Paradise zone, I do not recommend this place. It is way overpriced compared to similar properties on Koh Tao with similar rates. Stay away from this place. Book elsewhere." |
